About Divi Resorts

Divi Resorts is a group of nine Caribbean Resorts located on 6 beautiful Caribbean islands.

Divi Resorts was founded in the mid 1960's, and its first resort was located on the island of Aruba. Aruba's native "Divi Divi" tree was the source for our name. Over the years, Divi Resorts has continued to focus exclusively on Caribbean destinations and today offers a colorful collection of resorts on the islands of Aruba, Barbados, Bonaire, Cayman Brac, St. Croix, and St. Maarten.

While operating its early resorts, the Divi organization recognized the appeal of the unique beauty of the Caribbean Islands, as well as the growing desire from visitors for oceanfront vacation property. For most, the rapidly rising costs of island real estate often made such a vacation experience unattainable.

As a result, the Divi Vacation Ownership program was created nearly 40 years ago to provide visitors with the perfect solution–truly memorable vacation experiences at a most affordable price.
